Lynchburg, Va. -- Senior defender Austin Kues (High Point, N.C.) scored his first two goals of the season, and the fifth-ranked University of Lynchburg's men's soccer team routed its crosstown rival, Randolph, 4-1, to remain unbeaten in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play Wednesday night.

Kues scored Lynchburg's first and last goals, bookending a dominant performance that saw the Hornets out-shoot their rivals, 14-7, and take five corner kicks to the WildCats' none.

Senior midfielder Dan Friedberg (Blacksburg, Va.) notched a goal and an assist, and freshman forward Bryce Harrison (Chesapeake, Va.) scored his first-career goal as well.

It was Lynchburg's third-straight win over its crosstown foe, and the Hornets extended their unbeaten streak against Randolph to nine, dating back to the 2011 ODAC championship match.
