Senior forward Chaney Forbush netted a team-high 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting to go with seven rebounds. The Hornets led nearly the entire game, but the Maroons tied the contest at 48 all only three seconds into the fourth period. The Hornets slowly re-opened a small lead and Coronel put the game away with a traditional three-point play with under 30 seconds left to push the advantage to 70-63.
