Women's Tennis Falls To Randolph In Hill City Rivalry, 6-3

Lynchburg, Va. -- The Women's Tennis team faced off against their Hill City rival, Randolph College, on Wednesday afternoon while also honoring their lone senior Kelsey Dowling for Senior Day.

The WildCats grabbed a 2-1 lead after doubles, as Sarah Wyly and Dowling were able to secure a point for the Hornets in their doubles match. Freshman Christina Harris and Reagan Coon garnered points in their singles matches but the WildCats were too much, pulling away with four of the six singles matches to win 6-3.

The Hornets will be back in action this Saturday as they head to Roanoke, Va. for a match-up with the Maroons of Roanoke College which is set to get underway at 12:00 p.m. on the Hawthorne Tennis Courts.
