Lynchburg, Va. -- With new and improved seating arrangements at the University of Lynchburg Softball stadium, Moon Field, the softball program is offering an opportunity for current student-athletes, fans, alumni, and families to leave a lasting legacy by purchasing naming rights to individual seats at the stadium.

"The support for our softball project by our alumni, families and friends has been tremendous, giving us the opportunity to transform Moon field into one of the top on-campus Division III softball facilities in the country," said Director of Athletics Jon Waters. "To finish this renovation, we wanted to ensure we provided the opportunity to commemorate their softball memories in a permanent way in the stadium by naming a chairback."

For a one-time donation of $150, anyone can name a seat in the newly renovated stadium, ensuring their name is displayed prominently in the heart of the action. Proceeds from the campaign will directly benefit the softball program, supporting the team's student-athletes in the form of training equipment, travel expenses, and much more.

"We are very excited and thankful for all of our field renovations this year," head coach Dawn Simmons relayed. "We're thrilled for the opportunity to provide naming opportunities alongside our facility upgrades for all current players, families and fans of the team."
