Grand Lake, Colo. -- The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association recognized five University of Lynchburg women's lacrosse players on its Division III Academic Honor Roll, the IWLCA announced Wednesday.
Lynchburg's team also earned the distinction of IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, bestowed on teams that reached a GPA of 3.0 or higher in 2018-19.
Seniors Hannah Creasey (Virginia Beach, Va.), Kelsey Nock (Salisbury, Md.), Allie O'Leary (Salisbury, Md.) and Alicia Sandoval (Montclair, Va.) and junior Emmy Yarmy (New Rochelle, N.Y.) claimed honor roll status, which is given to student-athletes who have at least junior status and maintained a 3.5 or greater cumulative GPA.
The IWLCA included 630 players from 166 Division III programs on its 2019 honor roll. Three-hundred and three teams across Divisions I, II, III and the NAIA were named academic honor squads.

Lynchburg's team played to a 9-8 mark in 2019, including a 6-3 record in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
