Lexington, Va. -- The Lynchburg College volleyball team saw its four-match win streak snapped Wednesday night by means of a 25-22, 25-20, 25-11 sweep at Old Dominion Athletic Conference rival Washington and Lee.
Amanda Wrightson (Toms River, N.J.) highlighted the Hornets' stat sheet with seven kills and four blocks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Generals controlled the first set from the outset, commanding an 11-5 advantage. Lynchburg fought back to tie the set at 20 with a Wrightson and Mesa Willis (Dabneys, Va.) block, but W&L took five of the final seven points.
- Lynchburg got hot early in the second, jumping out to a 4-0 lead behind two aces from Katie Heenan (Nokesville, Va.) and a Wrightson kill. The set was later tied seven times before the Generals coasted away with the final four points to ice it.
- Washington and Lee used a 13-1 run to complete the third set and the sweep.
- Maral Tsolmon (Alexandria, Va.) anchored the Hornets' back row in the match with 11 digs, while Heenan dished out a team-high 11 assists.
The Hornets return home to Turner Gymnasium on Friday evening, where they'll take on another ODAC foe in Emory & Henry.
