Hornet Volleyball Defeats Bridgewater in Five

            LYNCHBURG, VA - Senior Michelle Boucher (Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) slammed 14 kills as the Lynchburg College volleyball team defeated Bridgewater College 25-19, 22-25, 25-22, 18-25, 15-11 in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) match.

            Junior Elena Kritter (pictured - Culpeper, VA/Rappahannock) collected 11 kills, 17 digs and three service aces. Rachel Huffman (Virginia Beach, VA/Bayside) added nine kills while Ashley Stokes (Lynchburg, VA/Heritage) tallied eight. Brooke Moughon (Mathews, VA/Mathews) posted 34 assists and 15 digs and Kristen Martin (Round Hill, VA/Loudoun Valley) had 33 digs.

            The Hornets (14-9/6-2) travel to Randolph-Macon College Saturday for an ODAC match at 11 a.m.
