Hornet VB Breezes to Three-Game Victory at EMU

            HARRISONBURG, VA - The Lynchburg College volleyball team breezed to an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) victory Tuesday evening at Eastern Mennonite University, 25-18, 25-14, 25-15.

            Senior Michelle Boucher (Chesapeake, VA/Nansemond Suffolk) led the team with nine kills, while Brooke Moughon (Mathews, VA/Mathews) had 26 assists. Elena Kritter (Culpeper, VA/Rappahannock) paced the team with 13 digs, and Rebecca Loftis (Coventry, CT/Coventry) and Cassie Martin (pictured left - Pearisburg, VA/Giles) contributed seven and six kills, respectively.

            Monika Burkholder led the Royals with six kills.

            The Hornets (10-7/4-1 ODAC) host Hollins University Saturday 1 p.m. in a non-conference match in Turner Gymnasium.
