LC Women's Soccer Holds Sweet Briar Shot-less in 6-0 win

            SWEET BRIAR, VA - The Lynchburg College women's soccer team held Sweet Briar College without a shot Sunday afternoon en route to a 6-0 victory in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) action.   

            Senior Betsy Kwiatkowski (Mount Jackson, VA/Stonewall Jackson) got LC on the board 11 minutes in from Joanie Snyder (Bel Air, MD/Bel Air). Snyder fed Brittany Klippstein (pictured left - Springfield, VA/West Springfield) two minutes later and never looked back.  Klippstein would score again just after halftime, and Katie Santos (Cheltenham, VA/Bishop Ireton), Jessica Gonzalez (Springfield, VA/West Springfield) and Katie Gebhard (Wyckoff, NJ/Ramapo) each added goals.

            Seanne Weekes made 21 saves for the Vixens.

            Lynchburg travels to Bridgewater College for another ODAC match Wednesday at 4 p.m.
