LC Women's Soccer Drops 1-0 Matchup with Emory

ROANOKE, VA – The Emory University women's soccer team narrowly defeated Lynchburg College 1-0 on Sunday in the Roanoke College Kickoff Tournament.

Both teams went scoreless in the first half, with LC outshooting Emory 2-1 in the period.

Emory's Emily Feldman though, converted a shot at 47:38 of the second half off the right post to give the Eagles the only goal of the game.

Senior goalie Jackie Bader made three saves in the contest for the Hornets.

Lynchburg (2-2) hosts Methodist University on Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm on Shellenberger Field.
