Lynchburg Volleyball Defeats Shenandoah in Three

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Lynchburg College volleyball team opened its home season Wednesday evening with a 25-15, 25-11, 26-24 victory over Shenandoah University in a non-conference match.

Junior attack Rachel Huffman delivered a game-high 11 kills and five blocks for LC. Rachel Turk had 19 assists, while Brooke Moughon had nine. Molly Deacon posted 15 digs, and Mallory Stewart had six kills and three blocks. Rebecca Loftis had five kills.

Mary Harshman had five kills and six digs for Shenandoah (1-2).

Lynchburg (2-1) hosts the five-team Lynchburg College this weekend. LC faces Randolph College Friday night in a non-conference match at 5:30 p.m. to open the event.
