Payne Delivers 11 Kills and 11 Digs as LC Volleyball Rolls at Roanoke

SALEM, VA – Sophomore Aricquel Payne posted a game-high 11 kills and added 11 assists Wednesday evening as the Lynchburg College volleyball team defeated Roanoke College 25-15, 25-20, 25-16. It was the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) opener for both squads.

Payne also added three blocks, while senior Rachel Turk had 18 assists and senior Brooke Moughon had 17. Senior Rebecca Loftis had nine kills and senior Molly Deacon contributed 15 digs. Freshman Gabby Myers had six kills and freshman Sierra Strathy contributed five kills and five blocks.

Samantha Klosterman had seven kills for the Maroons (1-4/0-1 ODAC).
