Whitt lifts LC Men's Soccer to 3-0 Victory over Shenandoah
WINCHESTER, VA – The Lynchburg College men's soccer team traveled to Shenandoah University Saturday and earned a 3-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) victory after two second half goals from junior midfielder Cody Whitt.

Ben Grossfuss netted the first goal to give the Hornets a 1-0 advantage over SU.
The second half belonged to Whitt. The first goal came in the 64th minute and the second came during the 77th minute off a feed from freshman forward Zach Thomas to give the Hornets a 3-0 edge.

Cory Budka posted two saves in his eighth shutout on the season while SU goaltender Keegan Fairchild saved seven. The Hornets offense-out shot Shenandoah 14-4 and held a 12-2 advantage in corner kicks.
LC improves to 8-3-4 (4-2-3 ODAC) on the season as Shenandoah University falls to 5-8-2 (2-5-2 ODAC). The Hornets return home to Shellenberger Field this Tuesday for a 7 p.m. ODAC match vs. Guilford College.
