Lynchburg Men's Soccer defeats William Peace 7-0
SALEM, VA – The Lynchburg College men's soccer team wasted no time finding a grove on offense during their 7-0 victory over the William Peace University Pacers Friday. Six different LC players found the back of the net during its first game of the Roanoke Invitational.
LC sophomore forward
Fredy Flores scored the games first goal with the assist coming from junior defenseman
Ricardo Manosalvas during the sixth minute. The Hornets would add their second goal of the half from sophomore forward
Collin Kashmer during the 21
st minute with the feed coming from senior midfielder Dan Jobrack. LC would tally two more goals during the 42
nd minute when junior forward
Adam Reynolds scored off sophomore defender
Bryan Hall's rebounded shot which was followed by sophomore midfielder
Ryan Mayolo scoring a goal just 32 seconds later to give the Hornets a 4-0 lead as they headed into halftime over the Pacers.

th minute of the second half to extend the Hornet lead to 5-0. LC would continue to pressure Willliam Peace University throughout the half, as sophomore midfielder
Chris Dodd posted two tallies and freshman
Grayson Rimbey contributed his first collegiate assist as a Hornet. LC goalies
Cory Budka and
Dylan McLaurin split time for the hutout.
LC improves to 2-1 on the season while William Peace University falls to 0-4. The Hornets continue play in the Roanoke Invitational at 4 p.m. Saturday against Greensboro College.
