Women's soccer drops tight one to Bridgewater

Box Score

Lynchburg, Va. -- Lynchburg College's women's soccer team couldn't overcome a first-half deficit, dropping a tight 1-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference decision to Bridgewater College Wednesday night on Shellenberger Field.

Bailey Kratz scored the lone goal of the match for the Eagles, who beat Lynchburg for the first time in program history.

Wednesday's goal was just the second Bridgewater has ever scored against Lynchburg's women's soccer program and the first since Sept. 13, 2004. The Hornets fall to 19-1-1 all-time against their ODAC foes.
