- Thomas put another ball into the box in the 83rd minute that Flores finished for insurance.
- The Lynchburg back line played stellar for 90 minutes, helping keeper Dylan McLaurin (Stafford, Va.) post his eighth shutout of the year.
LOOKING AHEAD
Lynchburg will play host to the ODAC men's soccer semifinals and finals next weekend, though the schedule for those matches will not be released until the teams are finalized after Saturday's action. The top-seeded Hornets will play No. 4 Randolph-Macon in the semifinal round.
