Box Score Lynchburg, Va. -- The Lynchburg College women's soccer team finished up its regular season with a 5-1 win over the Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon on the road Saturday afternoon.
Junior Katie Waring (Chester, Va.) dominated the back of the net scoring three goals for the Hornets. Waring's first two goals were assisted by midfielder Kennedy Jakubek (Leesburg, Va).

HOW IT HAPPENED

Randolph-Macon forward Meghan Skevington had the first goal of the game in the 15th minute of play with a shot from the top of the box.

Caitlin Mertens (Succasunna, N.J.) answered back with an unassisted goal tying up the game, 1-1.

The second half belonged to Lynchburg after three consecutive goals from Waring followed by a goal from Amani Jones (Fredericksburg, Va.) assisted by Sarah Crider (Forest, Va.) in the last few minutes of play.
LOOKING AHEAD
Lynchburg will be seeded later tonight to find out who they will face first in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference tournament Wednesday November 1.
