Bridgewater, Va. -- University of Lynchburg's volleyball program has a new career digs leader.

Senior libero Lauren Stanford collected 10 digs in Wednesday's 25-8, 15-25, 26-24, 25-19 Old Dominion Athletic Conference loss at Bridgewater to take over the career mark with 1,646 digs over her terrific career. The Mechanicsville native eclipsed the mark set by Savannah Tinsley in 2009.

Lynchburg (8-5) got 13 kills and seven digs from Sydney Frink and a five-block, four-kill effort from Disa Haugsdahl.

The Eagles (15-1) got 14 kills and eight digs out of Rachel Gaston.

Lynchburg will be back in action this weekend with an ODAC tri-match at Roanoke College in which they'll face off with Eastern Mennonite and the host Maroons.
