Salem, Va. -- For the third time in the past four matches, University of Lynchburg's men's soccer team battled Roanoke to a scoreless draw Saturday evening in Salem.

The Maroons (7-0-2, 0-0-1 ODAC) out-shot Lynchburg by a 20-19 margin, but Hornets goalkeeper Kyle Gallagher made six saves to Roanoke keeper Zach Behe's five.

Ben Mackey led the Hornets (3-3-3, 0-0-1) with five shots, one of which was on goal.

Lynchburg will be back in action Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Bridgewater in another ODAC match.
