Box Score Lexington, Va. -- University of Lynchburg's volleyball team suffered a 25-12, 25-19, 25-17 sweep at the hands of No. 23-ranked Washington and Lee on the road Sunday to close out the regular season.
The Hornets got 17 digs from junior libero Flinn Christian and 12 assists from freshman setter Taylor Breeden.
Junior outside Abbi Leeper led the Lynchburg offense with seven kills, while freshman middle Princess Salifou and junior setter Khoury May each tallied four blocks.
Lynchburg (9-6, 8-3 Old Dominion Athletic Conference) will carry the No. 3 seed into the upcoming conference quarterfinals, set for Wednesday. The ODAC office will announce the bracket later Sunday.
