Lynchburg, Va. -- The Lynchburg men's soccer team (6-2-2) will take on Eastern Mennonite (5-4-4) this Saturday, Oct. 12, at 7:30 pm in Harrisonburg.
EMU enters this contest 1-2-2 in their last five matches, picking up a win in their most recent affair vs. Bridgewater, 2-1. So far this season, the Lions have outscored their opponents 19-15, led by fifth-year forward Josiah King, with five goals of his own.
This Lion's high-octane offense against a stout Lynchburg defense will be the marquee matchup to look out for in this match. The Lions average just under 1.5 goals per game, while Thomas Viscuso and the Hornets have allowed 0.6 per contest, second-best in the ODAC.
