Lynchburg, Va. -- The University of Lynchburg men's wrestling team and head coach Vinny Barber are thrilled to reveal the schedule for the 2026-27 season.

The Hornets will open the campaign at home against Greensboro on November 3. Lynchburg then heads to Danville, Va. to compete in the Cougar Open on November 8 before traveling to Roanoke, Va. for a dual against ODAC foe Roanoke on November 12.

Lynchburg returns home to host Johnson and Wales on November 20 before heading to the Shenandoah Invite in Winchester, Va. on November 21. The Hornets continue the road swing at the Elizabethtown Invite on December 5 in Elizabethtown, Pa. before competing in the Cougar Duals in Danville, Va. on December 12.

The wrestling team closes out the 2026 calendar year at the Music City Duals in Nashville, Tenn. on Saturday, December 19. Lynchburg resumes competition in the new year by hosting Southern Virginia on January 9. The Hornets then travel to Washington and Lee on January 14, Marymount on January 20, Shenandoah on January 23, and Randolph on January 28 before wrapping up the regular-season dual schedule on January 29 at Wheaton (Ill.).

The postseason begins with the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship on February 13 in Danville, Va. Regional competition is scheduled for February 26 at a site to be determined before the NCAA Championships conclude the season on March 14 in La Crosse, Wis.
