Senior (2016): Switched to catcher in his final year for the Hornets...appeared in 11 games behind the dish where he contributed a .320 on base percentage...best game came against Stevenson on 3/13 where he drove in three runs to help with the win.
Junior (2015): Gauvain appeared in four games for the Hornets, making two starts at second base… Walked in one of his three plate appearances at then No. 3-ranked Emory University… Assisted in one double play on the year.
Sophomore (2014): Powerful left-handed bat off the bench for the Hornets…made the most of his pinch-hitting opportunities, earning three starts towards the end of the season…went 1-for-2 with three runs scored and two RBI against Southern Virginia University on April 18…had a four-game hitting streak from April 18-24.
Freshman (2013): Appeared in six games as a freshman, starting two at DH…drove in his first career RBI at Randolph-Macon College on April 6…scored two runs on the season, against Immaculata University on February 25 and another at Randolph-Macon.
Before LC: Started all four years for Coach Kyle Weaver at Litchfield High School…First Team All-Berkshire League while batting .480 with a homerun his senior season…was a soccer standout where he was named First Team All-Berkshire League and First Team All-State…also played basketball for the Cowboys…named Most Dedicated Athlete.
