Sophomore (2014): LaPorte appeared in five games for the Hornets in 2014; including two starts at designated hitter…went 2-for-3 with three runs scored as a pinch hitter…scored two runs to set a career high against Emory & Henry College on March 10.

Freshman (2013): Appeared in two games as a freshman while registering an at bat against Immaculata University on February 25…made a putout against Emory & Henry College on March 9 as well as one against Immaculata.

Before LC: Started two years for Coach Mike McGuire at Farmington High School…was named All-Conference Academic Team junior and senior year…made it to state championship game senior year…transferred in from American International College…redshirted his freshman year for the Yellow Jackets.

Personal: Son of Michael and Lisa LaPorte…has one brother and two sisters...marketing minor.
