University of Lynchburg athletics and former head baseball coach Lucas Jones announced the inception of a new piece of the Lynchburg baseball structure, the analytics division, and the appointment of Brady Moore as director of baseball analytics.

Moore works with the rest of Lynchburg's coaching staff to implement an analytics-based system for Hornet baseball designed to help each player in the program maximize their potential.

A 2018 Lynchburg graduate, Moore spent four years in the Hornets' program as a relief pitcher. He graduated with a degree in philosophy and, in 2023, obtained his master's in clinical rehabilitation and mental health counseling through West Virginia University.
