Senior (2015): Harris proved to be one of the most versatile Hornets in 2015, playing in 14 games while making nine starts in the outfield, at designated hitter and at pitcher… Started the season on a three game hitting streak while starting in right field… Hit a pinch-hit two-run home run at Emory & Henry College on March 15, giving him at least one homer in each season on campus… Went 2-for-5 on Senior Day against Washington and Lee University, scoring a run and driving in two more while making the start at pitcher… Went 1-0 in two starts on the mound… Led the team with 12.27 strikeouts/9 innings… Also led the Hornets with 5.50 innings per appearance… Struck out 15 and walked just one in 11 innings of work.
Junior (2014): Harris proved to be one of the more versatile Hornets in 2014, spending time in the outfield, designated hitter and pitcher…jumped his batting average up more than 100 points after April 12, due in part to a 10-game hitting streak to end the season…went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI at Roanoke College on April 13…went 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI in the ODAC tournament to rally the Hornets…started the year 3-0 on the mound, mostly in relief…made his first career start against Tufts University on March 21, going 6 1/3 innings of one run ball, walking two and striking out two.
Sophomore (2013): Harris appeared in limited action as a sophomore, playing in 17 games with starts in 10…took advantage of a start against Shenandoah University on April 13, going 3-for-5 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored…pitched an inning against Methodist University on April 3, surrendering an unearned run.
Freshman (2012): Played in 23 games and started in 12 in his first season as a Hornet…had 12 hits and scored 10 runs…tallied five doubles and one home run with 13 RBI and 20 total bases…drew seven walks.
Before LC: Attended Notre Dame High School…three-year starter…hit .365 his senior year with 38 RBI.
