2014 ODAC/Stellar One Sportsmanship Team
Senior (2015): Appeared in five games as a senior, exclusively in relief… Picked up his first career save against Eastern University on March 6, entering with the bases loaded to shut down the Eagles… Worked two innings of scoreless relief against Southern Virginia University on March 26 where he struck out two… Collected his first career win on Senior Day, throwing two innings to get the decision.
Junior (2014): Appeared in four games with one start for the Hornets in 2014…best showing came in the ODAC tournament when he did not allow a hit in 1 2/3 innings, and retired three of the five batters he faced by way of the strikeout.
Sophomore (2013): Goss appeared in five games as a sophomore…gave up one earned run in his final seven innings of work, including scoreless appearances against Guilford College on March 13 and Averett University on March 20.
Freshman (2012): Made six appearances for a total of eight innings pitched…struck out five and only gave up one earned run.
Before LC: Attended Trinity School in Durham, NC where he was a four-year starter and won eight letters…All-State selection his senior season with a 7-2 record and a 0.68 ERA…went 19-5 throughout his career…team made the state final four his senior year…also played soccer.
Personal: Son of Mason and Jane Goss…father played soccer at Rollins College.
