Senior (2016): Battled an injury, but made 10 appearances on the year, starting in two...his 8.37 K/9 average was the best on the team, totaling 22 strikeouts in 23.2 innings...picked up the save on 2/14 at Greensboro, striking out two in 1.1 innings...struck out five in 4.1 innings against then ranked #22 Marietta on 2/26...started in his final game on Senior Day, going 6.1 innings against then ranked #11 Shenandoah, his longest outing of the year, leaving the mound to a standing ovation.
Junior (2015): Made eight appearances on the season, five of them being starts… Started the year on a good note, throwing six shutout innings while allowing one hit and striking out five against St. Joseph’s (Me.) College on February 15… Allowed one run in 3 2/3 innings at Emory & Henry College on March 15… Held left-handed batters to a .190 batting average on the year.
Sophomore (2014): Crafty lefty that appeared in five games for the Hornets in 2014…had a career day in his season debut at Ferrum College on April 8 as he struck out four without allowing a hit in 4 1/3 scoreless innings…entered in the first inning of an elimination game against Randolph-Macon College for 3 2/3 innings to help take pressure off the pitching staff.
Freshman (2013): Made one appearance on the year, throwing a scoreless inning against Immaculata University on February 25…struck out one batter in his inning of work.
Before LC: Started three years for Coach Scott Mcgarry at Nelson County High School…received Player of the Week honors in high school…named Second Team All-Dogwood District in baseball…also played football for the Governors.
