Amie Chenault

Amie Chenault joined University of Lynchburg's equestrian staff in the summer of 2022 as the program's first-ever facility manager for the Lynchburg Equestrian Center at Patrick Henry Family Services Farm. 

Amie brings to the University of Lynchburg more than 22 years experience working with Sweet Briar College riding program. She earned her bachelor's degree in equine studies and a masters in education, specializing in equine studies from Salem International University (now Salem University) in Salem, W.Va.  Amie has experience as an adjunct professor with equine study courses as well. She is active in the equestrian community as a seasoned endurance rider and has a special interest in equine fitness.

Amie is a current member of the Old Dominion Endurance Conference. She knows a well-cared-for horse is crucial for a successful collegiate equestrian program.
