University of Lynchburg

Makaylin Shoop joined the Lynchburg equestrian staff as a graduate assistant coach in August 2023. 

She studied business management at Goucher College with an equine studies minor and graduated in 2023. As a member of the Gopher equestrian team, Shoop served as team captain and competed in IHSA shows. During her senior year, Shoop and her team placed eighth at IHSA Nationals in Kentucky. 

Shoop is pursuing her Master's in Business Administration with a sports management focus at University of Lynchburg.
