2014 ODAC All-Tournament Team
2015: Served as one of the best backup goalies in the nation . . . played in 13 games with a 8.46 goals-against average and a 59 save percentage . . . made 19 stops . . . saved five shots against Bridgewater.
2014: After starting season as backup goalie, took over starting role early on and never looked back…notched double-digit saves in five games, including a career-high 20 saves in the ODAC semifinal win over Washington and Lee…athletic goalie who uses speed to track down ground balls, which he picked up 51…also stopped 19 shots in midseason win over Nazareth…will be asked once again to protect the Hornet cage as a senior.
2013: Back-up goalie appeared in seven games this season...played six games in net, making nine saves…coaches experimented with him as a face-off man, where he won 13 out of 17 attempts…with his new job, coaches will look for him to compete for time at the ‘X’ as well push the rest of the team in practice.
2012: First-year goalie appeared in seven games…hard-worker made five saves and allowed only four goals in his time in the cage…will compete for the starting goalie job next year.
Before LC: Four year starter for Dominion High School…made the Dulles District tournament three times and won the championship in one of the appearances…helped the Titans make the three regional semi-finals…was named all-district, all-region, and All-Met player of the year…had the most saves in the Metropolitan Area as a junior.
Personal: Son of Larry and Elizabeth Fawkes…has one brother and three sisters…wrestled in high school four years.
