2015 ODAC Sportsmanship Team
2015: A solid reserve defenseman played in 18 games . . . caused seven turnovers and grabbed 20 ground balls . . . had four ground balls in a 14-9 win in March against Dickinson.
2014: One of the top long-stick middies on the team, appearing in 17 games in that role…while helping as an LSM on defense, was also instrumental in the transition game, helping the Hornets succeed on numerous clear attempts…during transition, scored three goals on the year and added two helpers, not usually seen by LSMs…speedster picked up 27 ground balls and caused six turnovers…will be looked to continue to provide leadership and be a force defensively.
2013: Took over an important role as a sophomore, becoming one of two primary long pole options for the Hornets…uses his speed and quickness to disrupt other offenses…played on the wing during face-offs…had 32 groundballs and 15 caused turnovers on the year…scored two goals, with his first career goal coming at Randolph-Macon College…will once again help a stout defense in 2014.
2012: Showed off some of his potential in nine games for the Hornets…picked up eight groundballs and caused three turnovers…uses speed to cause havoc and could see playing time next year with continued improvement.
Before LC: Won three letters and started two of them for St. Charles Prep…helped the Cardinals make the Central Ohio Lacrosse District tournament all three years…named all-region honorable mention in 2010 and second team all-region in 2011.
Personal: Son of Cole and Michele Ellis…has one sister…ran cross country in high school...minoring mathematics.
