Aaron Murphy

Aaron Murphy joined the Lynchburg coaching ranks after an outstanding four year career as a Hornet between 2012-16.

The three-time All-American graduated in the spring of 2016 from Lynchburg with a degree in sport management. He finished his career as the program’s career assists leader and second all-time in points. Murphy also broke the LC single-season record twice for assists and also holds the mark for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. He helped lead the Hornets to the 2015 NCAA Division III championship game, two ODAC titles and NCAA tournament appearances in each of his four years.

Murphy has coaching experience in Aston, Pa., assisting rising eighth-grade boys. He organized practice and coached at several tournaments.

He will be pursuing his master's degree in educational leadership with a focus in higher education.
