Colin McGuire

Colin McGuire joined the Lynchburg men's lacrosse coaching staff prior to the 2019 season as a graduate assistant and was promoted to the program's full-time assistant position the following summer.

In McGuire's time on staff, Lynchburg has reached the NCAA Division III tournament three times and won the Old Dominion Athletic Confrence championship twice, in 2021 and 2022.

The Odenton, Md., native earned honorable mention All-America honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association as a senior in 2018 along with All-South Region, All-State and All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference accolades.

He was a key part of the Hornet midfield as a freshman during Lynchburg’s 2015 run to the NCAA Division III championship game.

McGuire was a USILA Scholar All-American in 2018 and represented Lynchburg in the Division III North-South All-Star Game. He ranks in the program’s all-time top 10 for assists in a season (32 in 2018) and in a career (85).

McGuire graduated from Lynchburg in 2018 with degrees in business administration and sport management and is currently enrolled in the university’s master’s of business administration program.
