Prince Charles

Prince Charles joined the Hornets men's lacrosse staff in September 2024 with extensive coaching experience at youth, high school, and collegiate levels. Before arriving at the University of Lynchburg, Charles was the Head Coach for Randolph College women’s lacrosse.

Charles gained his coaching experience as an Assistant Coach in the ODAC with Virginia Wesleyan University and Randolph College men’s lacrosse. He also contributed to the sport's growth as a coach at Princess Anne High School, Lynchburg Select Lacrosse, and Forest Lacrosse.

In addition to his coaching accomplishments, Prince is an entrepreneur. He founded Prince Charles Lacrosse, a brand offering personalized coaching, stringing, and customization services. His leadership extends beyond the field. He co-led a non-profit organization that introduced the sport to underserved communities in Haiti.

As a student-athlete at Randolph College, Charles etched his name in the record books in multiple categories for the men's lacrosse team.  During his tenure, Charles tallied the most ground balls in program history for ground balls (364) and face-off percentage (.568). Additionally, Charles graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sports & Exercise Studies.
