Biography

2015: Finished his career as one of the senior members of the short-stick rotation…played in every game during the run to the championship, and routinely asked to help shut down opposing offensive players…scrappy player picked up the most groundballs in his career, with 33, and added six caused turnovers on the year…used his speed and shiftiness to be a major contributor on the transition team, adding a career-high eight points, three goals and five assists...notched an assist in the final game of his career…the coaching staff will miss the defensive, four-year stalwart in the midfield.

2014: Once again a top option for the Hornets at the defensive middie position, playing in 21 games on the year…corralled 18 ground balls and caused three turnovers during the year…continued to help offensively in a position that rarely does, scoring one goal and adding four helpers…very helpful in transition game with his speed, which leads to more assists…with graduation losses, will be asked to play at an even higher level as a senior.

2013: Second-year man continued to provide an important presence in the midfield…one of the top short-stick options for the Hornets…picked up 27 groundballs and caused 11 turnovers…also provided help offensively, scoring four goals, with an important one coming in the two-goal win at Franklin and Marshall…will be counted on once again to be a top option for Lynchburg in his third year.

2012: Impact freshman for the Hornets saw action in 16 games…a top option at the short-stick defensive middie spot…collected nine groundballs and caused one turnover…scored three goals on the year…will be asked of even more in his second year.

Before LC: Won four letters and started for three years at Smithsburg High School…helped the Leopards make the region-semis as a senior…was the Herald Mail player of the year in 2010 and 2011…named to the all-county team three times and the all-conference team twice.

Personal: Son of Steven and Carol Ganley…has one brother…played football and basketball in high school.
