Before LC: Started four years for Voorhees High School in Glen Gardener, New Jersey…Named all-conference once…honorable mention all-conference three times.

Personal: Son of Harry and Cheryl Short…Has one brother and one sister…Has a relative, Mike, who rowed crew for Cornell College.
