2013: After a successful junior season, the captain exploded in his final season…started off the season scoring the game-winner against Salisbury and being named ODAC Men’s Lacrosse Player of the Week…while helping offensively and defensively, he also took over the primary face-off role…won over 53% of his chances at the ‘X’…tallied 36 points on the year, while scooping up a team-high 71 groundballs…came up huge in NCAA tournament, knotting hat-tricks in wins over St. Mary’s and Roanoke…coaching staff will have a very tough task in replacing extremely versatile senior.
2012: Continued his rise during his junior year…showed his versatility by joining the second-line midfield unit, along with playing on the defensive side of the field and helping as a wing on face-offs…scored 11 goals and had six assists throughout the year…picked up 33 groundballs and caused nine turnovers…as a senior, Curran will be expected to make another jump.
2011: Improved greatly in his second season with the Hornets…Played in all 19 contests as a defensive specialist…Tallied 27 groundballs and 12 caused turnovers.
2010: Played in seven games for LC.
Before LC: Played four years of lacrosse for the Skippers . . . 2006-2007 state champs, 2008 state finalists, and 2009 semifinalists . . . league all-star, All-CNC team, All Eastern Mass. . . . 39 goals, 105 assists, and 123 groundballs in career.
Personal: Son of Stew Curran and Marianne Buckley-Curran . . . brother Garrett played lacrosse at Lynchburg College from 2006-2009
