2014 Stats

Sophomore (2014): The second-year midfielder provided a steady hand throughout the season, appearing in 17 games, with 11 coming as a starter…more of a defensive midfielder, helping break up opposing attacks when needed…will look to increase his contributions in his junior season.

Freshman (2013): Played in four games…posted an assist on September 21 in a 3-0 win at home against Randolph-Macon.

Before LC: Started three years for the Hillltoppers of E.C. Glass. He received All-district 1st team and All-region honorable mention honors. Chad also was a participant in the Virginia All-star game. Over his career he scored 14 goals with 23 assists, with 8 goals and 7 assists coming in his senior year.

Personal: Son of Gregory and Diana Hobson. He has one brother and one sister. . . has a math minor.
