Freshman (2013): Saw action in two games.

Before LC: Started three years for the Falcons of Fredericksburg Academy. During his tenure he earned second-team All-American honors in the (08-09) season and first-team All-American honors in the (11-12 and 12-13) seasons.

Personal: Michael is the son of Rodney and Lori Covington.
