2012 ALL-ODAC SECOND TEAM
Senior (2013): Michael played in every game this season for the Hornets while starting in 18 of them…. he scored a career high of three goals this season, two of them being game winning goals…had the game winning goal against previously unbeaten Randolph College on October 23.
Junior (2012): Played and started all 18 games for LC…Played a key role as midfielder…Had one goal and one assist on the year, with his goal coming in the 4-0 win over Bridgewater on October 20, 2012…Creative midfielder who uses speed to weave in and out of defenses.
Sophomore (2011): Played in 19 games and started in eight… skillful playmaker contributed to the LC offense by adding an assist.
Freshman (2010): Played in 18 games… scored one goal for LC.
Before LC: Received first team all-district honors as a junior and senior...was second-team all district as a sophomore...was a junior on the Millbrook team that won the BRYSA Cup...also played football for the Pioneers.
Personal: The son of Max Venegas and Shanon Huestis...has two sisters...Cousin, Jose, played professionally in Peru...Uncle, Juan, played professionally for D.C. United...minoring in spanish and sociology.
