Biography

2014 Stats

Sophomore (2014): The second-year man helped along the backline once again…played in 13 games during the year, with nine of them coming in the starter’s role…the physical defender will look to earn an increase in time on the field as a junior.

Freshman (2013): Started in seven contests, and played in 13…scored a goal in Lynchburg’s regular-season ending 2-1 victory at Roanoke to assure the Hornets of the #3 seed in the ODAC Tournament.

Before LC: Richard was a four-year letter recipient and a three year starter for the Indians of Gar-Field High School. He was team captain his senior year and also earned 1st team all-district honors in his final season.

Personal: Richard is the son of Claudia Perez Ortiz . . . a math minor.
