University of Lynchburg

Caden Garza joined the Lynchburg swimming staff as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2021. In his first season with Lynchburg, 2021-22, the Hornets knocked off 23 program records and swam to third-place finishes at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference championship meet.

A standout at NCAA Division III Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, Garza found the podium at Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championships in the 400-yard individual medlay and 100 and 200 breaststroke during his career.

Garza graduated from Southwestern in 2021. The McAllen, Texas native is enrolled in Lynchburg's master's of business administration program.
