University of Lynchburg

Jean-Mari Parsons joined the Lynchburg athletic training staff in the summer of 2021. Her primary assignments are the day-to-day care of the Hornets' field hockey, women's swimming, and women's lacrosse programs.

Originially from Pretoria, South Africa, De Jager attended high school in the Houston, Texas area before coming to the Hill City for college at Liberty University, where she earned a degree in athletic training and graduated with honors. While a student at LU, she worked with the Flames' men's and women's track & field and cross country, field hockey, women's lacrosse, baseball, softball, and football programs.

She works full time with OrthoVirginia and is contracted with Lynchburg's athletic department as part of her work with the Lynchburg-based company.
