University of Lynchburg

Terry Lee Jr. joined the Lynchburg track & field coaching staff as a graduate assistant in the 2017-18 season after a successful four-year career on the track for the Hornets. After completing his master's degree, Lee continued on as a part-time assistant, working primarily with sprinters.

The Woodbridge native was one of Lynchburg's top sprinters and middle-distance athletes throughout his career and ran with the team's 4x400-meter relay at the prestigious Penn Relays as a senior. Lee holds the school record in the 600-meter run and was on many of Lynchburg's sprint relays.

He earned his undergraduate degree in elementary education with a minor in English in 2017 and completed his master's in educational leadership in 2019.
