Slacum, a 2022 Lynchburg alumna, joined the women's lacrosse staff in the summer of 2022 as a graduate assistant.

Throughout her first four seasons, Slacum helped the Hornets secure 42 wins and produce 21 All-ODAC selections. In the most rceent 2026 campaign, the Hornets posted a 12-6 overall record with seven victories at Shellenberger Field. Additionally, Lynchburg toppled ODAC foe Shenandoah 14-13 during the team's Code Red matchup with a late goal by McKenna Steinau.

The Cambridge, Md. native was as a two-time all-conference defender and IWLCA Senior All-Star in her four-year playing career for the Hornets.

Slacum graduated with a degree in exercise physiology and is seeking a master of public health.
