Biography

Senior (2018): Appeared in 24 matches, starting the final 10 after moving to outside back, where her physicality helped the team capture the ODAC title and advance to the national quarterfinals ... Scored her only goal of the season in her first start of the year Oct. 20 vs. Shenandoah ... Recorded nine shots on the year.

Junior (2017): Physical midfielder who saw time in 23 matches ... Scored her only goal Sept. 30 in a 3-1 ODAC victory at Shenandoah ... Assisted one of the biggest goals of the season in the Hornets' NCAA second-round win at Christopher Newport.

Sophomore (2016): Came off the bench to play in 15 games during her sophomore campaign ... Tallied an assist against ODAC rival Randolph-Macon on Sept. 24.

Freshman (2015): Saw action in 20 games while making one start… She scored her first collegiate goal on Oct 16 in a 10-0 victory over Eastern Mennonite… Will look to build off her experience in her first year headed into her sophomore season. 

Before Lynchburg: A four-year starter for the Wayne Hill Patriots ... had two goals and four assists as a senior ... her team won three conference titles ... also competed in: Ski racing (4 letters) Lacrosse (3 letters) and track (1 letter).

Volunteer Work: For spring break senior year I went to New Orleans for a week with a program run by a teacher at my school. While we were there, I worked in the local animal shelter ARNO (Animal Rescue New Orleans). We also worked with an organization called YRNO (Youth Rebuilding New Orleans). With YRNO, we helped put siding on a family's house that was devastated in hurricane Katrina.

Dream vacation: My dream vacation would be a skiing tour of the Alps. I want to go to Austria, France, Italy, and Switzerland and ski the major peaks of the Alps.

Favorite Book: Hunger Games

Career Aspirations: After I graduate, I would like to get my masters degree in speech pathology. From there I want to open my own practice and work with people that have complications with swallowing, or speech impediments.
