Senior: Melchiori had another strong season in her final campaign, scoring seven goals and five assists…She was fourth on the team in scoring with 19 points…Melchiori collected two game-winning goals, September 26 against Guilford and in the ODAC Championship Game against Bridgewater…Her performance in the ODAC Tournament garnered her ODAC All-Tournament Team honors.
Junior: Started 10 games, and played in 18 during the season…scored six goals and added an assist…scored the game-winning goal against Virginia Wesleyan College to help LC clinch the top seed in the ODAC Tournament.
Sophomore: Breakout season as a sophomore, saw action in all 23 games, while starting in 13…Finished third in the ODAC with 31 total points and 13 goals (one game-winner), also sixth with five assists... set the school record with five goals in a game on Oct. 2 against Hollins University.
Freshman: Emerged as a vital player for the Hornets in this just her first year ... started in six games while playing in a total of 23 ... found the back of the net for a total of seven goals, adding four assists and totaling 18 points ... played clutch minutes for Lynchburg scoring three game winning goals that came against Meredith, Roanoke and Methodist colleges ... also tacked on two first goals on the year.
Before LC: A two-time captain and four-year starter at Chantilly High . . . two-time all-district . . . named the team's Offensive MVP in 2008, and led the team in goal scoring in the 2008 and 2009 playoffs . . . the Chargers were the 2009 State, Region and District Champions
Personal: The daughter of Rodger and Lisa Melchiori...has two brothers.
