University of Lynchburg

Brittany Smith is originally from Ogdensburg, N.Y., and works primarily with the Hornet women's soccer, women's basketball, softball, and equestrian teams.

Prior to becoming an assistant athletic trainer for Lynchburg, Brittany was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Christopher Newport University working with the women’s soccer and men’s lacrosse teams. While at CNU, she received her master’s degree in athletic training from Old Dominion University. 

Brittany graduated from SUNY Cortland in December 2012 with an undergraduate degree in athletic training. While at Cortland, she gained experience with the men’s lacrosse, softball, and football teams, as well as the Cornell University women’s basketball team. Brittany is also an American Heart Association BLS Instructor.
