University of Lynchburg

Chris DeBellis joins the Lynchburg men’s lacrosse staff in the fall of 2025, bringing a standout background as both a student-athlete and leader on the field. A native of Wyckoff, N.J., DeBellis played Division I lacrosse at Fairfield University, where he graduated magna cum laude.

From 2022–2025, he gained coaching experience with his hometown club program, the New Jersey Riot.

Before his collegiate career with the Stags, DeBellis was a defensive anchor and long-stick midfielder at Ramapo High School. He earned First Team All-State, All-North Jersey, and All-Bergen County honors, and was recognized as a U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American.
